We are pleased to share with the Schechter community that our Head of School, Marci Dickman, received the honorary degree of Doctor of Jewish Religious Education from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles on Monday, May 14. We are very proud of Marci’s accomplishments. HUC-JIR recognized Marci’s passion, commitment and vision in pursuit of educational excellence. We are fortunate that SSDS, its children and families benefit daily from these qualities.
