At Schechter there is truly something for everyone.  Extra-curricular programs are integral to learning at Schechter.  Many Schechter students participate in dance, band, choir and an annual theatrical production. Middle School students compete on Schechter’s basketball, volleyball and soccer teams. Classrooms and hallways are covered with student art. Computer labs buzz with conversation and exploration.

Schechter students enjoy an extraordinary relationship with the students of Keshet, a Jewish day school for children with special needs that occupies part of the Northbrook building. Keshet students share lunch periods, prayer services, and other school activities with Schechter students throughout the day.

Egalitarian morning services are conducted daily and Torah is read by students on appropriate days. Holidays are studied and celebrated in exciting and innovative ways.
