Welcome to Solomon Schechter Day School!

Thank you for taking the time to explore what a Schechter education could mean for your child and family. At Schechter, you’ll find children joyfully engaged in learning. You’ll also discover dedicated, caring, and talented educators who focus on the whole child and guide students to reach their highest potential as critical thinkers, empowered learners, and responsible citizens.

Our award-winning dual curriculum in general and Jewish studies, along with our child-centered learning philosophy, prepare students to thrive in high school and beyond. Schechter graduates are empowered with the knowledge, skills, and values to be successful life learners and  enrich our communities and our world.

When you talk to Schechter parents, you’ll discover that Schechter is more than a school for students; it’s a place for families to connect and grow together. We create meaningful opportunities throughout the year for families to learn, socialize, participate in service projects, and celebrate being part of a strong and vibrant community.

Take a few minutes to see what makes Schechter such a special place. When you’re ready, we hope you will take the next step to ask questions and learn more about our school

We look forward to welcoming you!

I transferred to Schechter in 5th grade because I wanted to be challenged more academically and I wanted to be in a Jewish setting. Right from the start my teachers and classmates made me feel so welcome. I love our community, the amazing faculty that has supported me educationally and personally, and learning about and celebrating Jewish life. I am so happy here.
